Booking Conditions
Reservations are accepted on the following conditions:
- The reservation is considered firm on acceptance of the Booking Form accompanied by a non-returnable deposit of £50 subject to the accommodation still being available. We will send written confirmation of the booking which initiates a contract between the client and ourselves.
- The full balance is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday, or at the time of booking if this is within 6 weeks of the holiday. If the balance is not received by the appointed date we reserve the right to cancel the booking and all deposits and payments already made shall be forfeited without prejudice to our right to claim for the balance of the total price.
- Cancellations must be made verbally as soon as possible and then confirmed in writing immediately. If we are able to re-let we will refund any other balances received over and above the deposit amount. We recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you against financial loss from cancellation.
- An amendment fee of £10 may be charged where appropriate for a change made to bookings.
- The customer undertakes to pay all extra charges as indicated in the terms and conditions and shall indemnify us against any damage or loss caused by the client or any member of their party.
- We do not accept any liability for loss of or damage to, personal effects, baggage, motor vehicle or any other item belonging to the client or any member of their party.
- The total number in the party will not exceed two. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund for a breach of this contract.
- We regret that the accommodation may not be occupied before 3pm on the hire start date (except by special arrangement). The accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the final hire date and left clean for the next occupants. A charge will be made if excessive additional cleaning is required.
- In any case outside our control which necessitates the cancellation of a booking by us we will use our best endeavours to provide suitable alternative accommodation of an equivalent price, but where alternative accommodation is not available any compensation shall under no circumstances exceed the total cost of the holiday.
- Every effort has been made to ensure that the accommodation description is correct but we reserve the right to make modifications to the specifications that are considered necessary in the light of operating requirements. Where possible clients will be notified of changes before commencement of their holiday.
- If the client is not entirely satisfied with the accommodation offered they should contact us immediately and attempt to resolve the problem. If after that they still feel that the problem has not been resolved to their satisfaction then they must, within 14 days of the end of the hire period, put comments in writing to us. Unless this procedure is strictly observed we cannot entertain any claim arising out of complaints.
- Failure to vacate the accommodation on the final hire date will result in the additional charges of £75 per day as liquidated and ascertained damages to cover for any loss sustained.
